With numerous journeys across Italy available throughout the year, the Orient Express La Dolce Vita is a brand new, exciting and exclusive luxury rail experience.
Boasting lavish interior designs, the train celebrates the craftsmanship and creativity of the 1960s and 1970s and marries the golden age of Italian design with a more contemporary spirit of travel.
The luxurious interior of the trains boasts exclusive accommodation comprising 12 Deluxe cabins, 18 Suites, 1 La Dolce Vita Suite, and a sophisticated restaurant. Additionally, one cabin serves as an elegant lounge area, complete with bar, where guests are invited to enjoy their leisure time.
Stay in one of 12 Deluxe cabins and experience luxurious accommodation on board. The deluxe cabins feature cool colours, mirrored back walls and wooden slat ceilings. The sofa unfolds to a double bed at night, and the ottomans serve as coffee tables and stools.
The space is designed to be welcoming and flexible at the same time. The contrast of materials, from the softness of the carpet to the natural wood used in the ceiling, all work together to ensure a sense of sophistication and comfort.

The opulent and spacious Suite cabins are presented as master bedrooms, equipped with a sofa and a table with two armchairs.
The shades of the furnishings range from warm orange and terracotta to rich purple, with brass finishes. Suite cabin walls are dressed in smoked antique mirror effect and the ceiling in glossy lacquered “burnt Sienna”, giving a sense of space and openness.
The lounge bar and the restaurant represent typical Italian hospitality and sophistication, with luxurious linen tablecloths married to unique 1960s chic.

This morning your holiday begins as you fly with British Airways from London Heathrow to the eternal city of Rome.
On arrival at Rome’s Fiumicino airport make your own way (payable locally) to your stylish hotel for the next two nights, the highly-rated Hotel dei Mellini (4 star) set in a quiet location in the elegant Prati district, close to the River Tiber, 10 minutes on foot from the Spanish Steps and 15 minutes from the Vatican.
